When I was a kid, my mom refused to buy me toys and video games unless it was my birthday. I did notice, though, that she bought me books whenever I asked. Because I like to get things, I kept asking for books. Smart, right?

As it turned out, I loved reading. I was introduced to Tolkien, Shelley, Stoker, Archie comics, Marvel Comics, Image Comics and DC. I  devoured any book I could get my hands on. I fostered a love of stories. Adventure, horror, history, sci-fi, suspense, mystery,  romance, action, drama anything that drags  someone into an imaginative world or opens a door to history.

I'm a Toronto-based novelist and TV writer. I recently wrote for the animated series, D.N.Ace (Corus/Nelvana). My YA novel, The Book of Sam (Dundurn), will be available wherever books are sold in August 2020. You can pre-order your copy here.

My stories have been published in the critically-acclaimed Toronto Comics Anthology Volumes 2  and 3 and Hogtown Horror, all available in book stores.

I have two projects in developed with LoCo Motion Pictures (My 90-Year-Old Roommate and How to Buy a Baby, both on CBC). What Got Did is a comedic web series that has received The Cogeco Fund and The Bell Fund. Comedy School is a half-hour loosely inspired by The Humber School of Comedy.

I would greatly appreciate if you left an honest review of my novel on websites like Goodreads.
